RULES:
• Participants will compete in an elimination-style tournament against players from other schools.
• Each game will be a single round of classical chess (10 minutes). Matches will be best-of-one.
• For the semifinals and finals, matches will be best-of-three rounds of classical chess (10 minutes each).
• In the event of a tie, it will be settled by a blitz match, with each player having 3 minutes. The winner of the blitz match will advance to the next round.
• Participants must be online on Discord while the match is being played. An administrator from our team will oversee the players.
Participants must comply with any commands given by the administrator. Official communications and updates will be provided through the Discord server, so it is essential for participants to stay attentive to announcements and instructions.
• Competitive integrity is paramount; any form of cheating or exploiting bugs will result in immediate disqualification.
• Participants must adhere to the designated schedule, and punctuality is expected.
• Players are expected to maintain sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
• All equipment and software must meet tournament standards for fairness and performance.
